Monsignor Pace, with the years of work in his little world he had become cold, arrogant, and pompous toward other sinners, although he, too, is one. He is unforgiving, especially with his own. That is until one night, a young woman of ill repute kidnaps him.
One who sells drugs and her body to anyone for the right price. Her life has been evil and she realizes she can't go on like that.
She wants...needs absolution. She forces the priest to a cemetery where her nightmares began, and professes her sins, along with those of the priest. Pace must face her dying and his living. Within his fear, his faith re-emerges.
Even though his strength is not what it used to be, his faith will carry him through the battle with the one who wants his soul...the demon, Taoz.
